Plenty of landlords run their rentals through QuickBooks — then spend hours bending invoices and classes into a rent roll it was never designed for, and still need something else for leases, tenants, and voucher tracking. Doorpost gives you landlord-native books and the whole management side, so your accounting produces a Schedule E instead of a headache — in one bill.

In QuickBooks: Accounting → Chart of Accounts → export to CSV.
The import wizard reads a QuickBooks chart of accounts directly — your expense categories become Doorpost categories, each mapped to the right Schedule E line.
Export a transaction list or general ledger and import that too, or connect your bank so new transactions flow in automatically.
